Gančani is a village placed in the middle of intensively cultivated plain, well known for cooper's trade. In the past there were more than 40 coopers in the village. They were manufacturing barrels, wooden pails and tubs using hardwood such as oak and acacia. The modern technology has caught the coopers as well, so the products today are completely machinemade. Nevertheless, coopers are still happy to present the manufacuring of barrels and please the admirers of this old trade.
