The area of Beltinci Municipality is well known for specialities of Prekmurje cuisine: bograč (goulash), segedin gulaž – sekeli (goulash with cabbage), meso iz čebra (roast meet covered with pig fat), zabeu (bacon), bujta repa, prosene, krvave and ajdove krvajice (various types of blood sausages), žujca (aspic), kisilakovi rejzanci (noodles with cottage cheese), dödöli (hard-boiled potatoe mush), mlejčne ugorke (cucumbers with yoghurt or sour cream), grajovo zelje (pickled cabbage with beans), gibice, retaši (strudels), ocvirkove pogačice (peppered bun), prekmurska gibanica, krapci…
